We currently buy our hogs from local farrowing houses and feed them out on our farm. They live outside in a pig tractor that gets moved to new grass daily. They are fed a local grain feed and all the garden and kitchen scraps they can eat. (Acorns and tree nut when in season)
Our hogs are harvested when they reach weights from 250-300lbs. We deliver them to a certified and inspected locker where they are processed per the end customer instructions.
Many times we will sell to families in the same town, at that point delivery from the locker can be discussed as an option.
